Privacy Policy

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Regulation relating to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data 2016/679, the Service Provider collects and processes Users’ personal data in a legitimate, fair and transparent manner. It collects only the data necessary for execution of the contractual obligations between the Provider and User.

In the interest of clarity and accurate understanding of terms, the “Service Provider” pertains to OptimIT Ltd., while all visitors of the Service Provider’s website as well as potential business associates are considered “Users”.

a) Type of collected and processed personal data

“Personal data” is any data that relates to an identified person or person who can be identified. An individual (the User) is a natural person whose identity can be determined directly or indirectly, based on one or more features specific to his physical, psychological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
The Service Provider’s website can be accessed without registration or login – in other words, without revealing the User identity. However, if the User wishes to contact us or inquire about potential employment and business co-operation then it is necessary to provide personal information. In this case, the name and surname, email address, contact number and any accompanying documentation must be provided. Should the User withhold personal information, (s)he will not be granted access to the requested pages and the Service Provider will not be able to respond to the request. The collected personal data is used solely for the specified purpose.
All inquiries regarding processing of personal data can be either emailed to gdpr@optimit.hr or mailed to OptimIT d.o.o, Planinska 13a, 10000 Zagreb, indicating “Data Processing Manager”.

b) Use of personal data

The User lends personal data to the Service Provider for the purpose of performing activities and/or meeting contractual obligations, for technical administration of the website, communication with the User, and statistical purposes. Personal data will not be disclosed to the third party, without User’s explicit permission. The User independently decides which data will be disclosed to the Service Provider. Should User withhold requested data, the Service Provider will be forced to refuse cooperation.
It is within User’s right to request, at any time, access to the collected personal data as well inquire as to the purpose for which it is used. Also, User may request update of personal data if such are considered inaccurate or incomplete. Forms ” Data access request ” and “Personal data update request ” are available on the Service Provider’s website. Simply email completed form to gdpr@optimit.hr or mail at OptimIT d.o.o, Planinska 13a, 10000 Zagreb indicating “To Data Processing Manager”.
The Service Provider is obliged to act upon the User’s request within one month. The term may be extended for additional two months if the Service Provider is prevented from acting upon the request immediately. The Service Provider will inform the User of the deadline extension.

c) Consent

While conducting a business with the Service Provider or submitting a request or an offer, the User has granted Service Provider the right to the use and process personal data.
It is within User’s right to withdraw consent for personal data processing at any time requesting that the Service Provider immediately ceases data processing and notify the User thereof. To exercise that right, User is required to fill out the “Consent withdrawal form” available on the Service Provider’s page and either email it to gdpr@optimit.hr or mail to OptimIT d.o.o, Planinska 13a, 10000 Zagreb indicating “To Data Processing Manager”. The Service Provider shall immediately discontinue further processing of personal data and inform the User thereof.
If the Service Provider is unable to fulfill its contractual obligation due to withdrawn consent, the Service Provider shall not be liable to the User for any damage incurred due to non-fulfillment of the Contract, while the User shall be liable to the Service Provider for the actual incurred costs.
Once the Consent is withdrawn, the Service Provider will permanently delete all previously collected User data without delay.

d) Complaint

In case User suspects misuse and/or withholding of information, it is within User’s right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.

e) Deleting personal data

It is within User’s right to request permanent deletion of all or some portion of personal data from the Service Provider. To exercise that right, User is required to fill out the “Personal data deletion form” available on the Service Provider’s page. The filled-out form may be either emailed at gdpr@optimit.hr or mailed at OptimIT d.o.o, Planinska 13a, 10000 Zagreb indicating “To Data Processing Manager”.

The Service Provider is obliged to act upon the User’s request within one month. The term may be extended for additional two months if the Service Provider is prevented from acting upon the request immediately. The Service Provider will inform the User of the deadline extension.

If the Service Provider is unable to fulfill its contractual obligation due to data deletion, the Service Provider shall not be liable to the User for any damage incurred due to non-fulfillment of the Contract, while the User shall be liable to the Service Provider for the actual incurred costs.

f) Automatically recorded data (non-personal data)

Each access to the Service Provider’s page automatically records certain general data not considered personal such as browser type, number of visits, average visit time, visited pages. Thus, obtained data Service Provider uses for measuring the website’s appeal, improvement of content and user experience. Such information is not specifically reviewed and disclosed to third parties.

g) Cookies

The Service Provider’s website uses “cookies” – text files placed by a server on a device used to access website. Files are created while website loads. The data is then sent to browser by creating a text file – “cookie”. A browser retrieves and sends a file to a targeted destination (site, page) upon return. Cookies are used to enhance website’s features bettering user experience. Cookies can be temporary (stored only during a visit to the site) or permanent (stored on the user’s device even after a visit).

These permanent “third-party cookies” are used to obtain statistical visitor information and website usage data. Data collected include IP address, browser data, language, operating system, and other standard data gathered and analyzed anonymously on massive scale. The Service Provider’s website does not use cookies that allow launching programs or setting up viruses on User’s devices.

Google Analytics uses the Service Provider’s website and “third party cookies” for analytics. Website usage information may be periodically collected using similar tools. Browser settings gives you the option to delete or block cookies should you disagree with its use. Since cookies enable and improve website’s features, blocking or deleting cookies may affect proper rendering of website.

h) Security

The Service Provider takes every effort to guarantee the security of personal data. User data are consistently protected against loss, destruction, forgery, manipulation and unauthorized access or unauthorized disclosure.
